Michał Wypychewicz is CEO of Koronea Family Office and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of ZPUE S.A., a technology company delivering solutions for the electric power sector. He has been involved in the family business from an early age and, in 2023, founded Koronea.

From 2021 to 2026, as President of the Management Board, he led ZPUE through a period of dynamic growth: revenue increased by more than 150% to approximately EUR 400 million, and the company evolved into a European technology group. The course of succession in the Wypychewicz family is considered exemplary, and Michał’s contribution to the development of the family business was recognised with a Special Award in the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2025 competition. In 2022, together with Koronea, he led the buyout of minority shareholders, which took ZPUE private and made it wholly owned by the Wypychewicz family.

At the helm of Koronea, he consistently strengthens its position as an investor in companies in the energy and technology sectors, including in international markets such as Germany and Türkiye. Koronea has also funded a scholarship programme at Kozminski University that covers the cost of three-year bachelor’s degree programmes for talented young people.

He is a regular speaker at leading business events, including the European Economic Congress, the Forbes Family Business Congress and the International Family Business Congress, where he shares his experience in the areas of succession and family office operations. He gained professional experience at, among others, S&P Global Ratings. He is a graduate of Kozminski University and further expanded his knowledge at the Wharton School and Harvard Business School.

Co-leads Koronea Family Office as Executive Director, where she is responsible for projects related to the energy transition and ESG. She has served on the Supervisory Board of ZPUE S.A. since 2017.

As President of the Management Board of E-Magazyny, she is building a specialised group of industry media focused on the energy transition, which includes e-magazyny.pl and, since 2026, gramwzielone.pl, visited by more than 400,000 unique users each month. She also oversees the development of industry conferences, which have so far brought together more than 2,000 participants.

In 2024, she founded the Mushika Foundation, whose mission is to drive systemic improvements in animal welfare through education and legislative change. She is a graduate of the London School of Economics and the School of Oriental and African Studies (University of London), as well as of Jagiellonian University. She has also completed a family office management course at Harvard Business School. She gained professional experience in the United Kingdom, Belgium and India.

Executive Director and Head of Family Office at Koronea. Since 2024, he has been responsible for managing the Wypychewicz family’s assets, valued at approximately EUR 1.7 billion, as well as investment strategy and financial planning. During this time, Koronea has completed acquisitions including BWTS Energy Services, a German engineering company, and Atlas Trafo, a Turkish transformer manufacturer. He is also a member of the Supervisory Board of ZPUE S.A.

He has more than 25 years of experience in investments. He began his career in investment banking, including at Access (a joint venture with Rothschild) and UniCredit Group. For 12 years, he was a Partner and member of the Investment Committee at Abris Capital Partners, a private equity fund that managed assets worth EUR 1.3 billion, where he completed transactions including Novago, Graal and Endego and evaluated more than 500 potential investments. He has served on numerous supervisory boards, including as chairman.

He holds a degree in Finance and Banking from the University of Business and Administration in Warsaw and further expanded his knowledge at Saïd Business School (University of Oxford), INSEAD and Harvard Business School. His views on the maturing of Polish family capital have been quoted by, among others, Bloomberg.

Bogusław Wypychewicz is the founder of ZPUE S.A. In 1988, together with his wife Małgorzata, he founded a family business that he grew for more than 30 years into the ZPUE Group, a leader in the electric power industry and an important player on European markets. ZPUE equipment is in operation today across Poland and in more than 35 countries on five continents.

In 1996, the company became a joint-stock company, and in 1999 it made its debut on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. In 2021, as part of a family succession, he handed over the position of President of the Management Board to his son Michał. In 2022, following a buyout of minority shareholders, ZPUE became wholly owned by the Wypychewicz family, and in March 2023 it was delisted from the Warsaw Stock Exchange. He is a recipient of the Honorary Badge of Merit for the Economic Development of the Republic of Poland (2023).

He is currently Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of ZPUE S.A. and a Non-executive Director at Koronea Family Office. He is an aeroplane and helicopter pilot and holds a 4th dan black belt in Kyokushin karate. He applies its philosophy – growth, continuous self-improvement and overcoming new barriers – in his work with the company.

Co-founder of ZPUE S.A. Involved in the company’s development since 1994, she helped build its success alongside her husband Bogusław, supporting the marketing and sales teams and developing the company’s growth strategy. As Deputy Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of ZPUE S.A. and a Non-executive Director at Koronea Family Office, she currently advises the Group, drawing on her many years of experience.

She is the originator and founder of the Jesteśmy Blisko Foundation, a non-profit organisation in whose work she remains actively involved. Since 2010, the Foundation has supported the sick and people with disabilities and run health-promotion and educational campaigns, focusing on the local community. Hundreds of beneficiaries are under its care, and 13,300 people have been screened in its preventive health programmes.

Chief Legal Officer and Investment director at Koronea Family Office, specialising in corporate law, in particular M&A, investment funds and regulatory matters. He has advised on some of the largest transactions on the market, including the InPost IPO in Amsterdam, the acquisition of Inea/Fiberhost by T-Mobile, and the acquisition of InPost by a consortium led by FedEx and Advent. He has also handled highly complex regulatory matters, such as obtaining a brokerage licence for Chatham Financial Europe. Before joining Koronea Family Office, he was a partner in the M&A practices of CMS and Deloitte Legal, and he previously worked at Baker McKenzie and Dentons. He has written numerous publications and is a co-author of the book Disputes in M&A Transactions. He is recommended by Chambers and Partners, The Legal 500 and IFLR1000, and lectures at SGH Warsaw School of Economics.
